Hi, I'm Ella.
I am a visual artist, craft maker and a tutor.
My products are made entirely by hand, in delicate processes.
I am a passionate maker, who loves creating and exploring new techniques and expand my skills.
I established Wood Plane Studio back in 2019, in Tel Aviv.
My first product was the EATANU booster seat, which obviously stemmed
from a need for my own first child.
Later on, our family moved to northern Israel, where Wood Plane Studio developed significantly. I started teaching in an educational center that follows the STEAM methodology : A project-based learning approach that actively engages students in solving real-world problems through creative thinking and processes. Students are encouraged to explore connections between different subject areas, and to expand their knowledge and skills set.
I discovered another strong passion of mine - teaching and sharing my creative gifts with others,
and working with a wide range of ages and mental circumstances.
Moving on to the current stop in our family journey, in summer 2023 we moved to Barcelona, Spain.
This is where we are located now, hopefully for many years to come.
We love it here, and we love the Spanish lifestyle.
Wood Plane Studio is where I create, teach, and share my knowledge.
